HIPPITY, HOPPITY, EASTERS ON IT'S WAY!!

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE! Yesterday, we had a wonderful time at our egg hunt. Thank you to all the parents who came and helped out! The children had fun and I think some of us adults did, too!

Yesterday, we also made "Resurrection Rolls." We baked crescent rolls with a marshmellow inside to represent the tomb of Jesus. After baking, the tomb was empty! Luke 24:6 says, "He is not here; He is risen!" Praise God for what he has done for us!

Please enjoy all the pictures of our day...

Happy Easter!

Please send eggs and baskets for hunting on Wednesday. Please fill the eggs with candy, number them, and tape them shut. Mrs. Gee's class will need for each child to bring 12 eggs, numbered 1-12 and Mrs. Woody's class will need for each child to bring 11 eggs, numbered 1-11.

KINDERGARTEN HAD A VISIT FROM A LEPRECHAUN!

We have been very busy this week practicing for our Kindergarten Play, "A Year to Remember."
We sent home each child's part for them to memorize by Monday. The play will be on Tuesday evening, April 24, at 6:30 in the Middle School Gym. We have all the costumes. Your child may have a few items to send such as shoes, socks or undershirts. We will be sending home more information on this soon. We will need some parental help with backdrops and props. This will need to be done during the school day. If you can help, please let your child's teacher know.

SOME UPCOMING DATES TO REMEMBER:

March 22-Family Chapel 8:00 am in the High School Gym

March 30- Good Friday/No School

On Friday, a leprechaun came to our classroom and made a big mess! The boys and girls were so helpful in cleaning the room. At least he left us some of his gold!!! He, also, left us a note with some magic powder and milk. With a few magic words, it turned green and we had a yummy snack!
Below are some pictures of his shenanigans!

We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

KINDERGARTEN LOVES TO READ!

This past week we have had a wonderful time of dressing up and celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday! His books are full of silliness and rhyme. They make us laugh and allow us to use our imaginations. We had several of our moms, as well as, our President, Dr. Judd and our Principal, Mr. Riley, aka The Cat in the Hat, come and read to us! How special it was to see these very important adults in our lives come and show us how important and fun reading is! Please enjoy the pictures below of our week!

When we return, we will only have 9 weeks left in school! Wow! Time flies when you are having fun! We hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe Spring Break.

Blessings,
Mrs. Gee and Mrs. Woody
