Tuesday night is a big night for Kindergarten! It is our Kindergarten Play," A Year to Remember." You will want to be there. It begins at 6:30 in the Middle School Gym. We have worked very hard and we can't wait to show you all that we have learned and all that we can do!
Friday, April 29th, will be Field Day. This is a fun day for our kids where we participate in all kinds of games outside. The theme for this years Field Day is honoring our local heroes. Kindergarten will be honoring firefighters. We have ordered a special shirt that your child will wear on this day. It can also be worn on Fridays as a spirt shirt. We hope that you can find some time in your busy schedules to join us for the day or part of the day. Everyone is invited.
Kindergarten Graduation will be on Tuesday morning, May 17th at 8:30am in the Middle School Gym. There will be a reception afterwards in the Eagles Nest. Your child may be dismissed with you after the program.

OUR KINDERGARTEN IS READY TO BLOOM!
We have planted sunflower seeds and are watching them grow every day! How exciting! The children cannot wait to see how much they have grown each morning. We, also, had a special delivery this past week. Our caterpillars came! We will get to watch as they grow, form a chrysalis, and change into a butterfly! Just like the flower and the butterfly, your children are growing and changing!
We have been very busy practicing for the Grandparent's Day program on Friday, April 15th. Please remember to return the form to let us know who your child will be leaving with on Friday.
We would like to encourage all of "Team Kindergarten" to help us out with raising money for Spring Sprint. EHCS receives all of the money raised, so this is a very important fund raiser for our school. You can either have potential contributors give a set amount, or they can pledge a certain amount of money per lap that your child runs.Thanks for all you do to help our school!
We have also been practicing for our Kindergarten Play, which will be on Tuesday night, April 26th at 6:30pm. Please send in $10 as soon as possible to cover the rental cost of your child's costume and for the repair and replacement of costume pieces.
This is a extremely busy time of the school year! There will be many things going on in the next few weeks. We will try our best to keep you informed of everything that is going on. Please check your child's binder each night, and read blogs and emails.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR IN KINDERGARTEN!
We have had another busy week in Kindergarten. We are learning about long and short vowels, money, subtraction, and plants. On Friday, we planted sunflower seeds and can't wait to watch them grow! We are practicing every day for our Kindergarten play on April 26th, as well as, the Grandparent's Day program on April 15th.
