KIDS, CRAYONS, AND KINDERGARTEN

What a great 100th day of Kindergarten! It was a very fun day. We even had a visit from Snowbird and got to thank him for our recent snow days!

This week we will be studying about bears and hibernation. On Thursday, we will be having our annual Teddy Bear Picnic. Please have your child bring a small teddy bear, a blanket or towel to eat on, and a complete lunch in  a sack. We will be having a picnic in the Eagles Nest. After naptime, we will be putting our teddy bears in our "cave" to hibernate until Spring. Please do not send a very special bear, as they will be staying at school for several weeks.

KINDERGARTEN IS "SNOW" MUCH FUN!

We are really wishing for some SNOW!! It's winter and that's what it does in winter, right? Any way, we would love to get to play in the snow and have some fun!

We ended our study of penguins this week with our annual Penguin Olympics. This included a Snowball Kick, the Penguin Waddle, and a Penguin Sled Race! The students had great fun and most of  all learned a lot about penguins.

This next week we will start getting ready to celebrate the 100th Day of Kindergarten! It will be on January 26th. We will be sending home a piece of poster board for your child to glue or tape 100 things to share on the 100th day. We will be displaying them in the Eagle's Nest for the elementary classes to see.

Stay warm and have a great week!
